Hydraulic oil cleanliness analysis
We determine the cleanliness class of the working fluid to ISO 4406 and show how much pump and valve service life contamination is costing you.
Up to 80% of hydraulic failures are caused by contaminated oil: particles of 5-15 microns act as an abrasive and gradually wear the friction pairs. Such oil looks clean to the eye – the problem only shows up in a particle count.
We take a sample from the running system, count the particles and give a verdict: whether flushing is enough, or the fluid and filter elements need replacing.
What the service includes
- Sampling from the running system using the standard method
- Particle count and cleanliness class to ISO 4406
- Assessment of water content and additive condition
- Check against the equipment manufacturer’s requirements
- Measurement report with findings and recommendations
- Selection of filter elements for the required cleanliness class

For intensively used equipment - every 500-1000 operating hours or before the season. After a circuit repair, an analysis is advisable straight away.
Results are usually ready 1-2 working days after we receive the sample.
Yes. The key point is to take it into a clean container from a running system; we send the sampling procedure in advance.
We flush the circuit, replace the filter elements and re-test the fluid.
Yes, water content is part of the standard test report.
Yes, we work with both mobile machinery and stationary industrial systems.
