Pressure hydraulic filters: purpose and main manufacturers
Pressure hydraulic filters ensure that the working fluid reaching the components of a hydraulic system meets the required cleanliness class.
Pressure filters are most often installed on working lines or in a dedicated location to which high-pressure hoses and metal tubes are routed.
The filter medium is most often synthetic material or wire mesh; in some cases cellulose media are used.
Pressure filters operate under high pressure, so their housings are made of high-strength cast iron, stamped steel or high-strength plastic.
